Ranganathittu is an important tourist destination from Mysore city or the adjoining Vrindavan gardens, both of which are barely 20 km away. The bird sanctuary, situated on the banks of the Kaveri River, includes of a group of six islets as well.

The isolated islets and the abundance of aquatic insects during the monsoon make Ranganathittu a favorite abode for birds. Ranganathittu attained the status of a bird sanctuary in 1940, courtesy of the visions of India. s noted ornithologist. Dr. Salim Ali. who, during his survey of the birds of Mysore, advocated for the establishment of such a sanctuary. The sanctuary is now a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers and bird watchers.
Boating facility is available at Ranganathittu for viewing the birdlife at close quarters.

After Boating one cutting chai is making us for a long journey. after this place we went for

Balamuri It is about 18 kms from Mysore on the way to Brindavan Gardens. Its a nice Picinic spot. But unfortunately we didn't enjoy so much here because it was a heavy rain in this area so we decided to left this place and start moving towards to coorg.

well the road for coorg is nice only some part you have to face the bad road but major road will be like a this and might be you well try like us have a look of this image.......

Well after having a nice side seeing we went for the Kushal Nagar. Kushal nagar is the 2nd largest Tibetan settlement in India, and the monastery is called the Namdroling Monastery. There is a large hostel for the monks, a shopping complex selling every thing that you can imagine, and 2 temple complexes.

Inside the monastery we found exquisite Buddha statues and the saints in golden colour. The walls all around had paintings in the Potala Style. Exquisite and intricate. I went click click.

So finally after spending a nice time at Tibet we moved forward for Nisargadhama. If you are going towards to Coorge, Nisargadhama, Harangi Dam and Dubare Elephant camp are on the way.
